Today saw the launch this year of our Key Word Buddy Programme where our senior class mentor some of our younger children in their early reading and spelling. This is done through a variety of games and “speed lists.” This is the same programme that the ETI (Education and Training Inspectorate) where hugely impressed with in their recent inspection. I was delighted to have so many willing volunteers who wanted to train as “buddies.”
We look forward to seeing both the younger children and their buddies thrive in the weeks ahead.
