Today we had a lovely celebration for all the children who took part in our Key Word Buddy mentoring programme this year. We are so proud of our senior class children who took on this challenge to support our younger children with a variety of games and activities. They have dedicated 3 sessions a week all year. We have seen wonderful improvement in the reading and spelling of these younger children as a result. We have also seen huge benefits for the older students in terms of responsibility, developing patients and being a good encourager. We are sorry now to lose 4 of our buddies who are Leavers and we wish them well in bringing these new found skills with them. Thank you all so much. Mr McKernan
